Description

A Symposium for Researchers at Every Career Stage

Advancing science and health through research takes insight, dedication and perseverance, but it does not stop there. To affect science, encourage collaboration, and guide the next generation of researchers, scientists rely on influence. This symposium explores the elusive but essential idea of having positive influence in science. It will draw on best practices from the corporate world, lessons from academia and the personal experiences of UCSF leaders. We invite you to attend any or all of the sessions and look forward to an interactive day of “real world” idea exchange.

This event is free and open to all in the UCSF community. Register here for all or just a portion of the day.
The 1 – 3 p.m. sessions will appeal especially to early career researchers.

The 3:30 panel of UCSF leaders will have broad appeal for the UCSF community.
